The
main goal of the organization is the commercialization of the product
of its members, preferably through the exportation to the international
market. Manos Campesinas is registered in the FLO-International
Coffee Register so we can export our coffee under the conditions
of the Fair Trade market.
The
organization was founded in 1997 and of the 1997/1998 crop we exported
one container of coffee. Through time we improved our service and
expanded our business, increasing our export volume to 16 containers
during the 2002/2003 harvest. All the coffee we export is done under
Fair Trade conditions. Our main markets are the US, the Netherlands,
and Germany.
